could someone please tell me the correct way to solder joint properly from start to finish.I usually tin both pipe and joint slide them together time consuming and slow

clean both pipes with wire wool, add helping of flux inset pipe into joint heat with "blowtorch" when flux boils add more solder.(assuming its yorkshire fitting)

This assumes both pipes are dry, and also that you clean the inside of joint, and solder has dollop of flux on it

When using blowlamp point it away slightly so it draw the solder to the end joint.
