Kenmore Ultra Wash will not start

I have installed a dishwasher, everything is hooked up, but it won

't start. Right now it has a spec of light above Pots/Pans, Quick Rinse, Hi Temp Wash, and Air Dry bubble buttons.

If I push Normal Wash and a dry cycle they light up and as soon as I press start they go off...... Nothing happens.

The only thing it will do is make a motor noise when I press Cancel/Drain button.

The only other thing it has done is flash the lights over Quick Rinse and Cancel/Drain button.
