Internal doors

I have recently removed all internal doors in my house due to poor fitting allowing draughts to enter the room. I am looking to purchase a solid timber door with a glass panel, but I am concerned that this would be too heavy to handle whilst hanging. If I were to use a panel door fitted to the frame could you suggest if I need to use putty or beading to fit the glass panel, what is the best option?
