The normal wash cycle interrupts for approximately 3-5 minutes before continuing to completion. Filter is clean--is there a fuse?

It sounds like the normal wash cycle has interrupted to heat the water for washing. Usually, behind the front panel of the door there is a Tech Sheet that shows the timing cycle for your model.
