What size cable should is use?

Hi i\\\'m installing a built under single oven using a cooker connection switch and need to confirm what size cable to run from the oven to the socket. I was thinking 2.5 mm2 coz the max output of the oven is only 2200 watts. Can someone please confirm this or advise on a different route. Thanks

1.5mm² flex would be sufficient. See if the manufacturer recomends heat proof. And fuse the supply down to 13A - either with a plug and socket or a fused conection unit.
