Central Heating Problem

Since my lost note.
I still have no rads working downsatirs and full heating upstairs (Hot Water is Fine)

My Boiler downstairs runs for 2 mins (Pilot is on) then cuts out then repeats

My pump appears to be ok, i have removed it cleaned it up etc..

I noticed that my rads downstairs get lukewarm but no more now and again

Any ideas?

See what the others think,my guess is the pump as the water is not being push around thru' the boiler so therefore overheating the boiler stat which cut it out and the reason for radiator warm upstairs is because heat rises??.

Have you bled the downstairs radiators?

Pumps do occasionally do boinkers things like running slow, or the shaft turns but the impeller comes off... Try shutting all your upstairs rads.

Checked for a bleed point by your hw cylinder?
