Hotpoint Aquarius condenser tumble dryer TDC30

Hi,
Can anyone help me.
Our tumble dryer's timer switch dosn't seem to work, it turns either way without the normal clicking sound. When I press the on button it starts without heating up and dosn't stop unless manually stopped.

Timer and/or knob is duff. Probably timer as it never finishes.
Only cure is to replace the timer.
