Firstly - Brilliant website, FANTASTIC. Ok, here\\\'s my problem. Dishwasher has water in bottom (about 2 \\\") When starting the cycle there is a grumpy type of noise, not grinding more like rattling type. The LED indicator says F4. we have cleaned all filters and used drain unblocker. Like the rest of you I love my dishwasher. Any ideas?

Either something in the drain pump or the impellor has snapped off.

its the bit that actually pumps the water out. its turned by the pump motor
