Facia board replacement

Having checked my gutters, I have found that the facia board that the gutter brackets are screwed into is rotten (my house is over 100 yrs old so I cant moan too much) Is it difficult to replace or is it advisable to 'bite the bullet' and pay a professional?

If you have good carpentry skills and hire a decent tower to reah it ...then go for it

I think I will give it a go, it does not look too bad a job, my only problem is getting scaffold or a tower anywhere near it.. I might have to get the scaffold put up professionally, as much as it will hurt my pride and my pocket... Thanks for the encouragement though..
