I got this from a wine site posted by Patty S who learned it from Nancy O at a party. icon_biggrin.gif

Mix (Fresh/new) hydrogen peroxide with (Dawn or any other brand) dish washing liquid - heavier on the peroxide. Then let sit for 15min. Wash as routine.

I get impatient and rub but you don't have to. Failure occurs when using old peroxide. You can keep a mixture by the washing machine and freshen it with new peroxide. I understand this also works on carpets using peroxide then adding the carpet cleaner. It truly works.

As soon as the Red wine is spilt, open a bottle of white and liberally douse the item then sponge it dry. Proven to work on white/ beige carpets and clothes. Then you can drink the white as well.
