There is a constant running water noise - like a tap - coming from (I think) the attic - which is especially prevalent at night (whether the heating is on or not. Please help - do I need a Plumber?

Can you get into the attic and find the source of the sound?

Is your loft tank overflowing (probably out of a pipe in the sides of one of your facias just under the roofline)? Could be a broken ball valve?

You be careful you might need a priest.
Ooooooooooooo

LOL

People amaze me " do I need a plumber?"

Maybe maybe not but you need a person to look in your loft more than you need to sit at the PC asking daft questions.

LOL
