I have a 10 year old Bosch dishwasher which now takes approx 20 minutes to fill. You can hear the water dribbling in very slowly, and even the shortest wash cycle takes about 3-4 hours. I have checked the water pressure and I took out the inlet valve and dismantled it but I can't see anything obviously wrong with it. After I put it back, for a very brief time it seemed to fill at normal speed for about 1-2 seconds then reverted back to the dribble.
Any ideas what it could be.

Is there a fine mesh filter in the hose fitting where it screws onto the tap that is fitted onto the copper pipe under the sink, and is this filter clogged?

Is the tap fully open? If you open the d/wr supply tap into a bucket, do you get a good flow?

There was no filter on the inlet hose. The plastic one at the valve inlet was clear. The water gushes out of the pipe when I remove the inlet hose.
