Asthmatic chicken behind my freezer

there`s not really a chicken but it does sound like it. The m/c involved is a Zanussi ZNB 3240 frost free fridge freezer and around a month old. The wheezing from the back is frequent but not constant, not loud but clearly audible. I though I`d ask here before all the pallaver of calling Currys and waiting for someone to come round.

My question is - is it normal?

emmmm. NO.
You should hear the compressor when it's running and if it's the new type frost free where the fridge is cooled by blown air from the freezer, you'll hear the internal fan(s). Can't say I've heard one sounding like a chicken though.
