 |

I have laid and grouted ceramic floor tiles using what the makers describe as a polymer grout which I understand has no cement content. Although I wiped the tile surface almost immediately, there is some marking which I can't seem to remove. This marking isn't solid grout, just a polymer haze in unsightly patches. Most tile cleaners seem to concentrate on removing cement-based grouts or epoxys. Can anyone suggest a product I can use please because otherwise it's expensive working through the alphabet! |

I had the same problem. I used a sponge that had an abrasive backing sold at HD for removing excess grout. After the tile dried I still had some hazing. I got the tile damp and used single edge razor blade to remove the hazing. It worked very well and did not harm the ceramic finish. I suggest you try this in an inconspicuous area rather than the middle of the surface where any damage could be readily seen.
