rads warm up when dhw drawn, replaced diaphragm, spindle operates ok and activates micro switch. can you strip divertor valve down easily as some unions have no threaded coupling only a hex grub screw are these servicable joints or factory joints is the back end of valve at fault or another component pls help :?:

If i ever have that type of diverter out to replace a diaphragm i always refurb the diverter section.

Its a bit fiddly so if you are not confident buy a new one.
 
isnt this the E type diverter valve. the actual diverting arm is spring loaded and may still not be functioning even thought the flow switch is.

or may just be crap has lodged itself on the seating.

i dunno :D my boss has always called it that.

i do have one in front of me and there is a big 'E' engraved on the main body. although i do notice everyone on hear calls it the giannoni.

anyone else..?
 
The manifold section is stuck!

I would try to clean in situ with chemicals.
