Help TRV Not Closing Leaking

i have taken a couple of radiators off because we are having some work done i have turned the trv valves down as far as they go to the frost setting because it is so cold in the room i believe the valves are starting to open hence starting to leak is there anything i can to buy to replacethe trv and close the valve without it opening

Decorating caps. Or a float valve washer over the pin.
 
you can also put such a cap on the end of the valve where the big nut on the radiator tail normally screws on.

Stops dripping valves.

i have wound a flexible tap connector with an isolator on it so that when you come back to put the rad back on you can drain off the excess

works well that does
