it is common but not always, depends on how the lamp was manufacturerd. As now they pretty much all come from china it is most likely to repeat this.

I got called to a customer who had a GU10 take out a 5A BS3036 icon_eek.gif

When I was S/E, I had a customer in a flat with a 3036 board which was always popping the fuses when lamps blew.

I fitted OSRAM all round. icon_cool.gif
