My Whirlpool dishwasher DU943PWKB0 is about 4 or 5 years old, maybe older. I would always use the “Normal Wash” cycle. It started working intermittently then quit altogether. I then used the “Heavy Wash” cycle until it quit working. I’m now using the “Light Wash” cycle. I don’t know how long it will last. What could be the problem? It looks to me like it might be the flimsy push button switches, but after checking on line I noticed that there is also an electronic unit that could be at fault. Is there a way I can determine which unit is bad. I have a multimeter that I can use to make some checks. I feel confident I can do the checking if someone can steer me in the right direction.
