Our old electric shower is dying a slow and painful death (well it is 19 years old). Please can someone suggest a decent replacement that doesn't cost the earth. Also it it easy to replace or does a qualified person need to do it?

ones ive been using is a Trevi . Made by ideal standard. Just make sure they send some flow restrictors with them as they have not been sending them as of late.

It is fully thermostatic as well.

Give me a Mira 415 Combiforce any day. Brilliant shower which is balanced rather than thermostatic but you need a fully modulating boiler.
