Hi,
I'd like to install a solid wood oak floor throughout the ground floor of my house (except kitchen/utility & toilet). However I dont want any beading along the skirting board to cover an expansion gap.
Therefore I need to remove the skirting boards to raise them or trim them so the flooring just fits underneath.
Problem is the house is only 7 years old and all the skirting seems to be glued on and therefore is a pain to remove.
So anyone have any tips on removing the skirting or I heard from a friend that there may be a way of routing the bottom of the skirting board while its still in place (edit: biscuit saw or jam saw) - possible?
Thanks |
