The reason the machine leaks is due to overfilling, this is caused by the machine not recieving a signal to stop filling. The signal is from an air pressure switch, this will be conected probably to the bottom drain reservior via a small bore hose, about 2mm to 3mm internal bore. Either the hose is blocked or the switch has packed up. Its more likely that the hose is blocked with soap sludge which can be cleared via the bottom filter, but to test the switch disconect the power, pull the small bore pipe off from the bottom end and blow into it, you should hear an audible click.
