I have recently fitted a new bath and taps.
I have noticed that when I have a shower and the taps get wet that water drips behind the bath :( I think there must be a tiny little space between the taps and hole in the bath where you put the taps in.
Could I just put some silicone around the tap to seal it or do I have to take the taps out again to replace the washers underneath?
Any tips as the the taps are in the middle of the bath and I don't want to take the bath out if I don't have to??????

u can use silicone around the taps.
You can if you want it to look cr*p and keep re-doing it whenever it comes off.

Why not do the job properly? Slacken off the backnuts until you can inject silicone between the tap and the bath deck, then tighten up the taps and wipe off the excess.

And unless you use top quality sealant you might as well not do it.
