I wired in a fan from the bathroom light. Straight live and neutruals from the ceiling rose from the light to the fan. works great but the fan will not shut down. I think I've missed out the switch wire, but from where to where does that go?

You have wired a timer fan into a switched live & neutral supply?

If you want this to work correctly, you will have to locate a permanent live, and the take the L, SwL, & N to a TP isolator then onto the fan.
