Hotpoint Dishwasher DWF50 Safety float switch

In the bottom tray, there is a safety cut of switch, should the machine leak & the tray fills with water. Is the micro switch, usually open or closed.
As I had to unplug it, I may have put it back on the wrong terminals.

should be normally open .butcertain terminals should only fit certain terminals!
