Carpet adhesive removal

Hi wondered if anyone could solve this problem for me, I am moving house shortly and have needed to take the kitchen carpet up, underneath are vinyl type tiles (council issue) but where the carpet fitter glued the carpet down I cannot get the glue off the tiles and it looks awful, attracting dirt etc.

Is there anything special I can use to lift the glue, I have tried scrubbing, bleaching, soaking, scraping well just about everything I can think of.

Have you tried Evo-Stick Glue Remover? Test a small area to check it doesn't discolour

White spirit does the job !!
