WHICH JUNCTION BOX?
Reply with quote Thanks

Struggling to work out what junction box I need to use ie, amps and 3 or 4 way. I\\\'m just replacing a light fitting which seemed to incorporate all the wires, new light only to run max 60 watt bulb.
Anyone able to offer advice?

Short answer - You shouldn't go wrong with a 20 amp 4 terminal

You mean you are replacing a ceiling rose? If so you'll need at least a 5A junction box with 4 terminals. The bigger the junction box the more room for the wiring but remember they have to be accessible, so you need to be able to get at it (removing the light fitting and pulling it through the hole is ok so long as there is sufficient slack in the cable to allow this.
