anyone help Please how easy is it to remove the Hot water heat exchanger . any detailed info would be appreciated .Then once removed how do i de scale it thank you in advance

Very easy.
Drain boiler completly. Remove 2 (philips i think) screws holding the HE to manifold. One either side.
Flush with lots of hot and cold water and chemicals. Untill water runs clean on primary side or the flow has improved on the hw side.
Might be worth just replacing the HE though. You also need to be carefull when putting back as there are four rubber washers which cannot be seen, only felt!

priced one up the other day from parts centre and it was way over priced, even prices online are too much.
would be loads more cheaper just to clean it out and remember if the heat exchanger is block up with black stuff on the heating side of the heat exchanger then a new/clean one will block in no time.

Don't forget that if fitting new hex then system should ideally be power flushed as you would if fitting new boiler, other wise could go again within warranrty period but not covered due to state of system water

There is a gauze filter hidden int he return connection tot he boiler so it should NOT block up very fast.
Also if its that blocked before that gave any trouble the system flow switch would have failed and needed cleaning.
They dont often block up because of that filter so if its blocked thats unusual in normal operation although it can be caused if the boiler is drained so that water flows backwards through it.
