I have 5 amp 250v slo-blo cartridge fuse for a power supply to a digitech rp2000 but I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove it. I haven't found any help on the internet thus far. The fuse is held in place by 2 silver looking caps on each end that are soldered to a circuit board and I don't want to break the solder because I don't have an iron. Is this possible? I would appreciate the help greatly. |

yes, but as i was researching this power supply unit this fuse blows often because there is no on/off switch on the pedal and it short circuits alot. Everything I read says it's really easy to replace the fuse and that should be done instead of buying a new 50 dollar power supply. I'm confused haha. I don't know s**t about these things |

might be a resettable fuse which is not resetting as the fault is still there? |

post some pictures, it sounds like it may be a wire ended fuse. |

You can get new ones from someone like Maplin, but you'll need a soldering iron and the expertise to use it without frying the circuit board
