flat concrete roof

i have knocked a wall down in my coal shed/bin area blocking the opening up and adding a window to make a room. but the flat roof on top has a 3inch ish cast iron down pipe comming down in the now said room.it takes very little rain water as the fall itself does the job. how can i fill the hole and seal it for long enough till i can afford to pitch the entire roof?
