my washing machine has stopped doing a full cycle you put it on setting to do a wash and it stays on it for hours just going round one way and then back the other it won\\\'t click on to rinse and the spin to finish complete wash can anyone help?

Thanks for the speedy reply. Is it something I can do myself, I have been happy changing brushes on other machines. Would I just need a heater element ?
