Permanently Removing a Radiator

Hi all,
What's the process for permanently removing a radiator?
Not sure what type of system I have. All I know is that it's a combi boiler.
I can get to both pipes under the floor.
Can they be bridged or will the need capping?
Thanks,
Pat.

Capping them under the floor will be fine icon_wink.gif

Looping them will just create unwanted circulation.

And being a combi boiler, would I be right in thinking it's ok just to connect up the little link pipe (cold mains to rad system) after until the pressure gets back up to 1 ???

Cheers,

Pat...

yep once you have finished work, put some corrosion inhibitor into the system, then fill up using the loop you described and make sure you vent/bleed the system!

Cheers.

What's the best/easiest way of putting the inhibitor in?

Thanks,

Pat...

D'oh, did a search and found the answer.

Forgot I need to drain the system first as it's a ground floor rad.

Then open one top end cap on any empty rad and por in the inhibitor.

Then fill the system back up!

How hard is it to empty and refill the system?

Thanks,

Pat...
