whats the difference between a single check valve and a double:

Single check is for low pressure systems and double is for mains water pressure. :D

Not quite right there... ;) It's determined by the fluid category risk downstream. :D

Single check suitable for Fluid Category 2 (slight aesthetic changes to water quality due to change in temp or presence of substances or organisms causing change in taste/appearance)

Double check valve suitable for Fluid Category 3 (represents a slight health hazard because of the concentration of substances of low toxicity eg lawn feed/fertilizer, central heating additives etc)


Coming next - sucking eggs for grandmothers ;) :LOL:
