Hi,
I have recently moved into a new house and after some building work which involved taking off rads etc our builder drained our system and got our boiler up and running perfectly. That was about a month ago. Two days ago I had to do some electrical work in another room which involved me switching off the circuit that the boiler was on.
Once I switched the power back on I followed the instructions for re-lighting the pilot. This involves turning all thermostats up to maximum. After a while the boiler fired up, but only for about 20 seconds then stopped. Even with the CH full blast I get nothing and no hot water for two days.
The boiler was fitted in 2001, so isn't ancient and as I said the system was recently drained.
Does anyone have any ideas? Could something have fused or shorted?
Please help!
Thanks
