Thermo mixer shower

Am just re-fitting bathroom and want to install a shower. My hot and cold water tanks are both in the loft (cold tank is elevated a couple of feet). Water pressure from taps looks pretty equal. Am I OK to fit a mixer shower?

Should be ok but take the cold feed from the tank and not the main.

The cold feed should be lower than the one that feeds your cylinder so that in the event of Float valve failure, your hot water will run out first and you won't get scalded icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks a lot - very helpful. Since last posting, I've found some details about my boiler. It's 14.6 kW, output 50,000 Btu/h. Is this sufficient? Water flow is 19.0 l/min, pressure loss 31.5 mbar.
