I have some old 3/4" pipe in the house and need to cut into it for at tee.

How can I connect the new 22mm tee? The size is slightly different.

It is to carry main pressure cold water.

Will a push fit connector work? Or one of the facny cupro push fits? Or is there another way.

Thanks in advance.

Buy a 22mm compression tee, and two 3/4" imperial olives for the old pipe connections. Just swap them for the ones which come with the Tee.

No easy pushfit solution.

we plumbers that are starting to get the odd grey hair or hair where there used to be none ask at the plumbers for 3/4" green rings.
Used to be coloured green in the middle to easily spot em in your tool box ,Hence the name, but they don't colour em for some reason now.
Must have retired the person that coloured them in.
