I have a single light switch with red black and earth. I wish to replace this with a 2 gang switch to run a small under cupboard light. Can you advise which connections to use, Common, L1 or L2 for each light?

You do know that there is unlikely to be a neutral at the switch?

You will probably have a Live, Switched Live and Earth.

Thanks. As you confirmed there was no neutral. I put a separate line in. Thanks,
Ken
