Hi
I'm thinking of laying rubber flooring on 25-30 sq m of open plan kitchen/reception. at present there are 20 yr old cork tiles on the floor, under that concrete and self levelling compound. I have had the joy of removing old cork tiles before. wondering whether I can lay rubber tiles straight onto the cork, or have to endure chipping away at the cork/tile adhesive. help! |

you need to uplift them and lay levelling compound. If you lay over top the glue you use can react with the cork, also they may sweat and come lose from the subfloor/bubble. |
