Radiator disassembly

My hot water rad in kitchen is approx 6' long. I AM MOVING TO NEW LOCATION AND NEED TO REMOVE SOME SECTIONS FOR NEW LOCATION.How do I separate the radiator sections?(I have removed the thru rods.) THANKS,

Might be worth asking the question on an American site. This is a UK based site and the majority of our radiators are pressed steel panel type which come in set lengths and cannot be shortened (at least, not without a gas torch icon_cool.gif )

Though assuming it is a column rad a bit of gentle persuasion with a hammer and bolster might do it.
