Best short-term fix for drafty back door?

Hi,

We have a wooden back door ("stable door" type - i.e. top and bottom halves can open independently), which is significantly warped and hence very drafty.

We are planning a rear extension in the next 12-24 months which would remove the wall in which the door sits, so I am looking for a cost-effective solution to the drafty door which will suffice until we do the extension.

Can anyone suggest good options? So far I've had a look at cheap(ish) PVCu doors to replace it, but am wondering if there might be a better option. We have no need to use the door (we have patio doors on the adjacent wall) so could possibly seal it up?

Appreciate any advice. Thanks,

R
