Zion and the Art of Armageddon

The court also asked Israel for a report. Conditions where the evac'd are intended to go. Israel have another rats nest in that area maybe including rats. Also somebody else also asked for one but I didn't catch the details.

Nice one, let's see the UN pick the bones out of this little lot.
Seems the US will start refunding them "next year". The real investigation is on going but there will be a result at some point.

Bunnies as they didn't say when next year. Also any Trump effect as currently there are indications that Biden will loose votes due to Gaza - prob by not voting at all. An outfit that goes by the name of something like liberalists appear to support Biden even though they are usually rather right wing. They invited Trump to speak and booed him - nice way of getting in the press.

Your vote. Be interesting to hear the result. Well sort of.

In more horrific news an Israeli air strike on a group of refugee tents in Rafa has killed at least 27. Many of the bodies are burnt beyond recognition but at least one decapitated baby, presumably by shrapnel from the bombs, is captured in footage.

Hours after the Hamas rocket attack on Tel Aviv.

One war crime does not excuse another

The rocket attack on Tel Aviv was an indiscriminate attack on a densely populated civilian centre, the airstrike on Rafah was an intelligence led strike against senior Hamas leaders, which unfortunately had the consequence of some collateral damage.

Only one of the above is a war crime under international law.

In many ways no.

Firstly you are trusting the IDF, they have not earned that.

Secondly failing to minimise civilian casualties is a war crime. Even if there's a legitimate target then you must make as much effort as you can to avoid collateral damage.

Thirdly do we know the rocket attack was indiscriminate? If they were targeting military positions around Tel Aviv by your own logic Hamas were allowed to do so.

Fourthly Tel Aviv is less densely populated than the humanitarian refugee camp that Israel has forced more than half Gaza into before bombing it.

"This is not how war is meant to be waged. If this is what compliance with International Humanitarian Law looks like then the Geneva Conventions serve no purpose." Theodor Meron is among the lawyers judging Khans case before the ICC and i'd like to see Israel slur him with accusations of anti-semitism - a former legal advisor to Israel and a Holocaust survivor. "It's a precarious moment Internationally and if we don't cling onto the law we have nothing left..."

If the Knesset goes ahead with the Zionist's plan to designate UNRWA a terrorist organisation then they've truly 'jumped the shark'.

If it goes through, the implications will be huge for the UN.
Why would those be?
Nice one, let's see the UN pick the bones out of this little lot.
Without a shadow of a doubt, the UNRWA agency proved on October 7 that it is a terrorist organization that is no different from the terrorist organization Hamas."

UNRWA provides services for Palestinians in Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan as well as for 1,476,706 refugees in Gaza and another 871,537 in the West Bank.
Only those latter 2.34 million Palestinians would be impacted by the Knesset vote. The bill, if approved by a preliminary vote, would still have to pass a first, second, and third reading.

I love the bunnies in the first sentence. I wonder who they are quoting. 2.34 million don't matter. No bunnies on that. Currently the UNRWA can't do much other than distribute aid but have already been interfered with in that area. They still are doing some limited schooling, the rather young and in tents. Many of the UN buildings damaged or destroyed

Israel has full details of all UNRWA workers including photo's - so shoot them all?

I'm reminded of a S American country where the leader has told the UN to leave. All they do there is comment on what he is up to. The above. Their state given the above wording rather than shooting themselves in the foot have chopped one of their legs off instead.

filly, the apologist for Israeli war crimes...

One wonders why filly hasn't hopped on a plane to the nation he clearly thinks can do no wrong and join up to murder innocent civilians himself

I was contemplating the fact the supporters of Israel's genocide like to brand all Palestinian victims as "Hamas."

With equal justice, one might describe all Israelis and their supporters as "Likhud"

It may be useful to recall that it was founded by a terrorist leader responsible for many atrocities, including the murder of British peacekeepers.
