British Gas is seeking to reward millions of its customers with a range of new loyalty deals.
Next month, the firm is launching British Gas Rewards, which will allow all energy and services customers to choose the benefits they want, ranging from personalised offers including discounted energy and home services to entertainment perks.
Among the early deals are:
A partnership with Sky to bring entertainment packages to customers
Loyalty deals for energy, with bigger discounts for those who have been with British Gas the longest
A new energy tariff bundled with British Gas Homecare services
Another new tariff bundled with Hive Active Heating and other connected home technology
Other bundles, such as with insurance
Earlier this month, British Gas extended a price freeze for five million customers on its standard tariff until August this year.
Customers are being told they do not need to take any action at this stage, and British Gas would contact them directly to invite them to join the new rewards programme.
