Remove as much as possible, then soak in warm water containing a biological detergent. Rinse in cold water. If any stains remain, treat with a solution of 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of ammonia in 500 ml (1 pint of warm water), being sure to test on a hem first. Wash as normal.

Remove as much as possible, then treat the same as non-washable articles. Dried-on stains can treated by applying an equal mixture of glycerine and warm water. Shampoo if necessary.
