Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
Bosch PowerForAll
The Bosch PowerForAll Tool range is a range of tools you can buy knowing that batteries are compatible with all tools in the range providing they are of the same voltage. eg 18v fits 18v, 12v (10.8v) fits 12v (10.8v) etc. Please also note that 10.8v is compatible with 12v & vice versa as it is just a name change. Indego Lawnmowers also use the PowerForAll 18v battery but require a cover plate to be removed if changing.
PowerForAll has many advantages not least the fact that once you have a tool with a few batteries then there is no need to buy the more expensive versions with battery & charger, you can just go ahead & buy the much cheaper no battery versions!
So remember PowerForAll signifies complete battery compatibility throughout the range. There is however, one caveat to this, some of the very first older chargers will not charge the very latest batteries & a battery charger upgrade will be required if you have a first generation charger. All batteries fit all tools however.
As of 2021 Bosch has licensed PowerForAll to other manufacturers whereby batteries between these manufacturers will be interchangeable.
Important
You cannot use Bosch Pro (Blue) batteries in either 12v or 18v DIY (Green) products.

Used it yesterday on some thick blackberry stems growing at the back of my shed unable to get behind it yet able to reach down from the roof to cut with the nano blade Works well went though like hot knife in butter 1 inch stems on the vine did it no problem. worth the buy.
Works well, very fine cuts. Easy to clean. Blade removal without tools. Interchangeable battery with other tools from the same range. I have five different tools now. I think that they are meant for domestic users rather than trade. Would recommend, well built good quality.
Effective little power saw. Excellent that it can share batteries with many of my other cordless tools. The only minor gripe I have is that it very quickly gets clogged up with sawdust, necessitating frequent cleaning out.
Love it. Have used it to cut some pretty thick branches with ease.
Not had much use yet but easily cuts through 2 inch dry timber, useful or small and awkward cuts, battery compatibility is very useful.

Q : is this unit naked or does it include a battery and charger
A : Good morning, Please do check the drop down options as we have this as a bare unit or with battery and charger.
Q : Does it cut insulated plaster slab
A : Although Bosch make no mention of plasterboad (insulated or otherwise) the product pictures appear to show someone cutting it with the AdvancedCut 18 LI. However I'm afraid I have no experience of trying and I'm not sure how well it would work in this application.
Q : Just bought Bosch easycut 12v, can recommend a battery and charger for this?
A : I'm not sure if you meant the 12v EasyCut, or this tool that you've asked the question on? (the AdvancedCut 18)- in the case of the EasyCut 12 there's not much I can recommend as Bosch only sell one type of battery separately for the Green 12v range at the moment and that's the one we stock on product ID 21008590. For some reason they don't sell the chargers by themselves at the moment so it's a bit trickier to get hold of one unless you buy one of the tools in the range that is supplied complete with a battery and charger. In the case of the AdvancedCut 18 it is compatible with any of the batteries and chargers shown in the "Accessories" section on our website, and you have a bit more choice here - essentially the higher the Ah rating, the longer runtime you'll get (but the size, weight and cost of the battery will all go up as well)

This product carries a full 3 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables.
