Arrived quite quickly, and does the job. Not much more to say (sorry - punch drunk after having been asked to write a review for every item I buy).
Perfect tool for pruning fruit trees in an orchard
Does a good job of reaching those high spots that none of my other pruners get anywhere near. Easy to adjust the angle of the head and the overall reach. Good cutting action. Negative points: The pummel at the end tends to fall off then slam up to catch your hand or fingers when the blade is released - Painful! Duct tape around the ball it is supposed be retained on, solved this problem. The plastic 'guide' piece causes more trouble than guidance so I will possibly remove.
A well made product which performs as it should provided limits are put on the size of branches to be cut. Although not heavy consideration should be given to the extra leverage from its extended length.
An excellent long reach pruner. Well built but lightweight for ease of handling, particularly at height. A great product and good value for money bearing in mind the build quality and capabilities.
Combined with the branch saw I'm very happy with this pruner. Personally I wouldn't buy it without the saw as you are very likely to come across a branch that is too big for the pruner. The only real negative is that the lock for the head, which stops it twisting isn't strong enough and so the head can get rotated when you are trying to get the pruner into position in amounst branches.
