Customer Questions & Answers
Q : I have a stain in my ceiling from a water leak in the room above. The leak is now fixed. Would it be best to use this for a discoloured water stain? Or would a Stain Block be best? I get mixed up between damp seals and stain blocks. Thanks
A : Hi Chris, the damp seal is designed to prevent damp from getting through to the surface and should help to mask the stain to a degree, but if there is no chance of the leak springing up again and you just want to paint over it you can expect better results by going straight over it with a purpose built stain blocker
Q : Is this suitable for painting over mould or friable, blistering plaster?
A : Unfortunately, this treatment is designed to work best when painted on to a prepared surface before painting. Due to this it would not be suitable to paint over a surface that is already cracking and crumbling
