Hi, I had a fault with my Ariston A23/MFFI Microcombi., the first corgi came around and said too many fault to fix the boiler and advised to replace it.
Before doing so and being an electronic engineer I decided to check for dry joint on the PCB and loose wiring .
When the boiler was fitted about 7 years ago , the engineer gave me the servicing instructions, therefore I could go through the fault finding flaw chart.
And I discovered by coincidence that when I was touching the High voltage harness connector the boiler was working OK.So I ordered the complete harness and replace , but I did not noticed that the air pressure had 3 spades and there are only 2 wires going to it, I'm not sure which of the 3 spade do I connect the two wire.
First I connected them to the 2 opposite spade and the boiler did not fired up and the fan was not spinning. but if i use the top and right spades , the fan spin and after few seconds the boiler works OK.
I was not sure so I left the boiler off till I ascertain the right connection for the air pressure switch.
I hope some can assist on this
Thank you
