So, it's coming up to Christmas and if I'm clever I can put something on my Amazon wish list that people might look at and decide to actually get me.
I have a Makita BHP453 cordless drill that I'm perfectly satisfied with. It has a BL1815 battery. It's 18v. It's got LXT stamped on it. It's Lithium-Ion.
So, would I be safe in putting the DTD146Z Makita impact driver onto my wish list? The battery I have with my drill will work this too, right?
The Makita website is not totally transparent / easy to read... it just says "Lithium-Ion" for the battery type, but I thought there might be some other subtle factors at play... last thing I would want is for someone to buy me an impact driver body and then I need to get a different battery.
I realise that my battery is only 1.3Ah, but that's probably why I got the drill for less than £100.
