I would expect the Russians to try and shoot down the missiles , thats why they spent billions of roubles on missile defence systems ect ect , now its lets see if it work's ?? could be good for bussiness 
one needs armed conflict in order to test some of this hardware, real world scenarios are always the best way

The Reds were embarrassed from perceived impotence last time Trump sent in his cruise missiles, and they are vengeful after the US killed about 300 Russian mercenaries in February.
They need to keep face. But neither side wants to be reckless but needs to talk up their capabilities and potential action. Most of the Russians are conscripted kids, with just a few specialists so would not want a direct conflict due to their inexperience, but you never know.

annexing the crimeria ,
shooting down a dutch air liner
invading Ukraine

Well if it happens I suppose I will go quickly. I live a couple of miles from one of the biggest power stations in UK. I only hope that if the balloon does go up you are not on the periphery of the bomb blast so that you suffer agonising heat and light burns or even further away that you have suffer agonising radiation sickness that could take months or years to kill you. The Ruskies are preparing.

12 years in the army mate. Interminable films about the affects of and how to protect yourself against nuclear, chemical and biological warfare. Hundreds of exercises dolled up in NBC kit and dozens of trips through the gas chamber to test said kit. Interspersed with films about venereal disease and how to avoid it. Jig a Jig street was never the same.
Can't we just strap T. Mayhem to that bomb whilst we're at it...
