I went for breakfast at chiquitos last Saturday morning only to be told they have no pancakes..... Oor oor I thought. This is just the beginning.... .

Now I don't even like Pancakes ... But I defend the right to have a pancake... If I should want one..

When voting yes or no, I was not told there could be a shortage of Pancakes..

I feel as if I was lied to.

There is No Cause For Alarm.

"...the Department of Health and Social Care has admitted in a letter to all NHS trusts in England.

The department said it was urgently planning to cope with potential “short supply of certain ingredients imported from the EU”, which involves advising suppliers how to use “substitute foodstuffs to maintain nutritional balance” of meals."

Everything will be fine.

"...a leaked letter revealed concerns among hospital and ambulance trusts about “both stockpiles and shortages of medicines and medical devices” and fears that “disease control coordination could also suffer”.

The letter, signed by the NHS Providers chief executive, Chris Hopson, says there has been “radio silence” from NHS England and
NHS Improvement and urges “active national leadership”.

Hopson voices concern about
the ability to retain and attract European staff post-Brexit. European Economic Area workers account for 9.1% of doctors, 5.5% of nurses and midwives and 15% of dentists, according to the Department of Health and Social Care."

Dominic Raab, our Brexit Secretary, is finding out more almost every day.

"I hadn't quite understood the full extent of this but if you look at the UK and look at how we trade in goods, we are particularly reliant on the Dover-Calais crossing," he said.

As the UK's chief negotiator for Brexit, Raab's comments caused some surprise and criticism on social media."

Nothing to worry about.
There will be adequate food.

We'll be able to import food and medicines using the government's Dunkirk-like flotilla of chartered ships

"The UK Chamber of Shipping believes that the UK Government’s plans to charter in ships to bring in supplies in an event of a No-Deal Brexit would not be a smart move.

The plan is being considered as a contingency measure, but the transport authorities remain optimistic a sensible trade agreement with the EU, UK’s largest source of food imports, would be made. According to Brexit secretary Dominic Raab, cited by the Independent, the UK government is making extraordinary plans to stockpile food in case the negotiations fail."

As Diane Abbott would say :'I misspoke'

She was on top form on question time. She referred to when she had spoken to the victims of Grenfell, quickly changing it to how she had spoken to the relatives of the victims.
