houses less than 1/4 mile
Not within a few yards, then.
and I bet it has an efficient furnace, a tall chimney, and particle traps.
Not piling up the rubbish in a heap on the ground.
So, in all, quite different.

But I won't be burning 275,000 tons in my back garden, and it will be just garden waste I'm burning. That's Lib Dems for you.Not within a few yards, then.

But you just told Sid next door its ok to burn his kitchen waste coz the council do it anyway.just garden waste I'm burning
That is the firms own data, not independent, like Maxwell and Green saying the pension fund is going great. Anti social ? you mean like BBQ smoke ?You can inform yourself with factual data or continue believing wild conspiracy theories:

Burning rubbish in your garden at the moment is a hugely anti-social act.
True, and Sutton council have been very hot on that, guess how many convictions they have made ?The stupid thing is that the councils have needlessly shut the tips, so waste is being dumped all over the place.
Kitchen waste is not incinerated (apparently) , but it is no different burning potato peelings and tea bags as it is burning garden waste. But you just told Sid next door its ok to burn his kitchen waste coz the council do it anyway.
Which is why IF I was going to burn anything, it will be late evening/night, and not on a sunny afternoon when people have washing out or relaxing in the garden, unlike selfish oafs who , as soon as the sun pokes its head out, spark up the barbie and pi55 all and sundry off. Cig smoke I don't mind, can't stand vapeing , may pass on virus .Yes I mean anti-social like any kind of smoke. Cigarette smoke, barbecue smoke, bonfire smoke. While people have to protect themselves indoors from a virus that attacks the lungs and the only fresh air they can get is through an open window, it's unbelievably selfish and inconsiderate to burn anything.
Then why not direct your anger at Sutton council/Viridor ?If you burn anything at any time at the moment, you are a selfish oaf. Just like the people breaching the distancing and exercise regulations.
